Student Organization Handbook

Full details of the operations of student organizations at The King’s College can be found in the Student Organization Handbook. This site is meant to be used as a quick-reference for leaders of organizations.

Applying

Student Organization Applications and budgets for the Fall semester should be submitted to Jonathan Clark. Organizations will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis during the first council meetings. Additionally, space can be reserved at the Student Organizations Expo by contacting Jonathan.

To apply to be an official Club in the King’s College, please fill out a Club Application. If you wish to apply for organization status, please contact Jonathan Clark first, then complete the Organization Application.

Each Club and Organization must submit a budget each semester they are in existence.  We hope to have a budget template available soon. Please contact Jonathan Clark or Angie Giannetti if you need immediate assistance.

Turn in applications (and proposed budgets if requesting funding) to Student Services in an envelope labeled:

The King’s Council
ATTN: Jonathan Clark

If your organization is requesting funding, it is highly recommended that a representative be present at the King’s Council meeting that their organization is being presented at.  If a representative is not present, the council may postpone their decision until their questions can be answered. The funds should be transferred to your account within a week of the King’s Council decision to grant your budget.

Financial Forms

For details on how to submit expenses for your organization, please see the Financials page.

If you have any questions please email the Director of Student Organizations, Jonathan Clark, at jonathan_clark@tkc.edu.
